Zehnder's of Frankenmuth is Making a New Splash!

Now in its second year, Zehnder's Splash Village Hotel & Waterpark has launched a remodeling program for its 89 original guestrooms. Phase I begins this month on 32 guestrooms to be completed by mid November. The remaining 57 guestrooms are slated for completion early summer of 2008.

"The renovation plan was in place when we opened Splash Village in 2005," said Zehnder's of Frankenmuth President and Chief Operating Officer William Parlberg. "Our goal is to upgrade the 89 rooms with the same warm and comfortable design as guests now enjoy in our family suites and lofts."

The remodeling effort includes new carpeting, draperies, wall treatments, granite counter tops, microwave, refrigerator, new heating and cooling systems and a completely updated bathroom. In addition Zehnder's Splash Village has completely re-designed the bedding package to provide a more luxurious sleeping experience. "For many lodging properties the bed has become a point of distinction," remarked Matthew Bryant, director of hotel operations, "we want our guests to have a great experience when they are awake or asleep."

Zehnder's Splash Village Hotel and Waterpark offers 152 deluxe accommodations including 63 suites, with 30,000 square feet of aquatic fun with a Splash landing play area, dumping bucket, giggling gorge, and Perilous plunge - a four story tube slides. Guests can relax in the whimsical whirl hot tub or just float along the Crooked Brook Creek lazy river. A games arcade is adjacent to the water area next to the Elf Hollow Café. Zehnder's Splash Village is lcoated next to Bronner's CHRISTmas Wonderland.
