Well here it is again, the New Year. Always an opportunity to wipe the slate clean, start over, make changes. A time to be thankful for the gifts that God gives us. A time to look back and determine what resolutions worked and which new ones need to be adopted. I’m terrible at New Year resolutions.
My 2012 resolution was to lose weight. I didn’t even give myself a specific goal; just lose some weight. I even started exercising more which just made me hungrier and then I ate more and now here I am rolling over my 2012 resolution to 2013.
For our company, founded as the Exchange Hotel in 1856, this is the beginning of our 157th New Year. Our resolution is simple, continue to do what works and make changes in products, systems and facilities that support our daily mission “Every Guest Leaves Satisfied.”
We have been blessed as a company. We have a hospitality team that is second to none. We have great guests that honor us by coming back year after year, introducing their children and grandchildren to the ever changing world of Zehnder’s.
Thank you for being part of our past and present and our entire team looks forward to welcoming you to the Zehnder family of businesses in 2013.
From our family to yours have a very happy and prosperous New Year!
Sincerely,
Al Zehnder, CEO

I’ve been coming to Zhender’s since the early 50′s when my boss took our whole office crew there. I was just out of high school at that time. We ate in the original room at Zehnder’s! Later my husband, daughter, and son in law returned to eat there every Thanksgiving for many years. Now my husband and I go yearly during our birthday months and are planning to again attend the snowfest and enjoy another wonderful dinner there this year.
