Tour de Frankenmuth Cycling Race
Saturday, May 26, 2012 beginning at 8 a.m.

The Tour de Frankenmuth brings over 400 participants into Frankenmuth along with several hundreds of fans. Just like the major races across Europe and U.S., the Tour de Frankenmuth promises plenty of cycling excitement.

Racers have several distance choices ranging from a five-lap 77 mile event down to a one lap 15.5 mile course. The race course is a 15.5 mile loop. Racers compete for a prize purse of $3,600.

Get Ready to Fondo
Saturday, May 27, 2012 beginning at 8 a.m.

What is Gran Fondo?
“Gran Fondo” means “Big Ride” in Italian. They are long distance, mass-participation cycling events-not races-that have become immensely popular in Europe. Participation is open to recreational and competitive amateur cyclists.

Participants begin their trip in Frankenmuth and can go to Akron, or as far as Cass City and Ubly or complete trip with return to Frankenmuth.

Wind turbines of Ubly and Native American Petroslpyth’s are the highlights of the Double Metric, Century course.

65 mile, Frankenmuth to Akron then return

Beginning Wednesday, July 18, there will be a total of 5 clinics. Each clinic is an hour long for $15 per clinic. Participants will be able to go out on the course after the clinics to play 9 or 18 holes.

 What will your child experience?
The day begins with our professional bakers teaching your children how to make fresh baked goods from scratch. They may even bring some goodies home to share. Next, they meet our Chef’s who give hands on instructions on preparing their lunch from start to finish. Before and during lunch, campers will be taught some basic dining etiquette and table manners each day. After lunch, there is a craft time and golf at The Fortress and Jellystone Park where campers will participate in golf activities. Each day will conclude with time to play at Zehnder’s Splash Village Hotel and Waterpark.

Zehnder’s Snowfest 2013 will again dazzle and excite you with snow and ice sculptures created by professional ice and snow carvers around the world.

Zehnder’s Snowfest is also host to the National Collegiate Ice Carving Championship and the High School Snow Sculpting Competition.
