This is the time of year when everything seems to “mush” together. The start of school kicks off that time of year when it just seems so much is packed into the last twelve weeks of the year. The brilliant colors of autumn not only signal the end of the golf season at The Fortress but that Halloween is right around the corner. Michigan’s whitetail deer season allows hunters their first opportunity October 1st. And maybe it’s just me but that period of time from Thanksgiving to the end of Christmas season is a blur.
I just happened to catch it early one September morning, the first Christmas ad on TV. I couldn’t believe it. Christmas decorations are going up in Frankenmuth and my mailbox is already stuffed with catalogs. And on top of all the usual madness, throw in the Presidential campaign. Then New Years Eve, the New Year and the cycle starts all over again.
Well, at Zehnder’s, we don’t slow down much ourselves. Our very popular instructional classes, Holiday How To’s, begin November 13 and extend through the 15th. If you don’t want to cook at home but want to take all of the credit, reserve a complete Thanksgiving Dinner To-Go. Or simply make Zehnder’s your Thanksgiving Day dinner destination.
Our Holiday Dinner Show is scheduled for December 3-5 and have the kids (naughty or nice) bring their Christmas wishes to one of our Santa breakfasts or lunch December 8th and the 15th. Check our website at www.zehnders.com for details. Make your reservations for any of these popular events as they fill up early.
Looking forward to being a part of your holiday season.
