Footballs, Frankenstein and Fun

It’s hard to believe the summer is over and the fall season is upon us. As a child growing up, the autumn season represented playing football with my brothers, cousins and neighborhood friends in one of our parent’s yards. Those games were always unique because every yard had different dimensions and distinctive obstacles (talk about a home field advantage) and usually ended up in some form of argument over our made-up rules.

We probably could have used the NFL’s replacement refs to settle our disputes. The fall also represents that one time of the year (Halloween) when we would dream up our favorite costume (I always enjoyed being Frankenstein) and collect as much candy as we could and yes, probably just like your siblings, it was a competition as to who ended up with the most candy. Well here at Zehnder’s Splash Village, we have a unique event every October called the “Halloween Bash at Splash”. We introduced this event several years ago as a safe and fun way to create family memories. Our staff enjoys seeing all of the unique and creative costumes everyone is so proud to show off, parents included. The Halloween Bash at Splash also includes Halloween crafts, coloring contests, story time, apple cider with donuts, a trick or treat scavenger hunt and a Halloween movie with popcorn to complete the evening. So give us a call and make your reservations for October 26th and 27th for our annual, “Bash at Splash” and enjoy a night of fun and family memories.
