Job Title: Meat Prep – Main Kitchen
Department: Food & Beverage
Status: 30-40 (through December)
The par-boiling of the fryers needed for fried chicken, the cooking of heavy hens for sandwich meat, and cooking of giblets for gravy.
The processing of par-boiled chicken to final prep state, cutting powdering, traying up, and chilling, for fryer use.
Preparation of soup broth and gravy for dining room use, in accordance to Zehnder’s specifications and in quantities specific.
The proper rotation of perishable meat and food items in the back room coolers
Assist in the sanitation and care of the compactor area and the discarded grease area as directed by the dock foreman.
Any other duties as assigned by Manager.
Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
Able to lift 80 lbs on regular basis.
Able to work a variety of shifts.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
