The warmer than average temperatures and lower gas prices brought thousands of spectators to Frankenmuth during Zehnder’s Snowfest. Once again, professional snow and ice carvers brought their vision to life with beautifully detailed snow and ice sculptures throughout downtown. In addition, visitors enjoyed a wide variety of entertainment in the warming tent, a fireworks display, petting zoo and the annual American Culinary Federation’s Hot Food Competition hosted by Zehnder’s.
The competition was fierce for all snow and ice carving categories including the World Double and Single Block, State of Michigan and High School snow sculpting competitions; and the National Ice Collegiate Association. The award winning teams can be viewed below.
