We hope that you will join us for one or more of our upcoming Spring How-To Classes! Dates and times are listed inside. Reservations are required for all classes and can be made by calling (989) 652-0450 or by booking online below.

Spring How-To Classes Schedule:

Baby Chick Cake
Class Limit: 16
From 1 – 2:30 pm
Cost $50 per person
Learn step-by-step from our professional cake decorator how to create an adorable chick cake. This delicious raspberry lemonade cake frosted with classic buttercream icing is sure to wow all of your Easter guests. Take home a full size 6-inch cake along with 2 decorating tips.

Braided Peaches and Cream Strudel and Cinnamon Sugar Danish Knots
Class Limit: 16
From 11:30 am – 1 pm or 4 – 5:30 pm (SOLD OUT)
Cost $50
You will learn how to make a light and flaky braided strudel filled with peaches and cream cheese. While your strudel is baking, you will make 12 delicious cinnamon and sugar Danish knots. These simple Danishes are sure to impress any holiday guests.

Bunny Cookie Gift Box
Class Limit: 16
From 9 – 10:30 am, 3:30 – 5 pm or 6:30 – 8 pm
Cost $50
Zehnder’s Cake Decorator will show you how to create an adorable assembled bunny cookie surrounded by carrot and flower cookies. You will assemble the cookies in a gift box, perfect for your holiday table or for a gift.

Lemon Butter Cookie and Strawberry and Cream Bars
Class Limit: 16
From 9 – 10:30 am (SOLD OUT)
or 4 – 5:30 pm

Cost $50
Learn how to make a dozen melt-in-your-mouth lemon butter cookies complete with lemon glaze. While your cookies are baking, make a pan of strawberry and cream bars, made with a brown sugar and oatmeal crust filled with strawberry jam and cream cheese to take home and bake. Great for breakfast!

Quiche and Mini Key Lime Pie
Class Limit: 16
From 2 – 3:30 pm (SOLD OUT)
or 6:30 – 8 pm

Cost $50
You will learn from one of our pastry chefs how to create a delicious quiche, perfect for Easter Brunch. You will start with our homemade pie dough filled with egg, bacon, cheese, onion and asparagus; baked to perfection. While your quiche is baking, you will learn how to make a fresh key lime pie for dessert.

Strawberry and Cream Shortcake Biscuits and Lemon Coconut Macaroons
Class Limit: 16
From 10:30 am – 12 noon or 6:30 – 8 pm
Cost $50
Learn how to make 6 jumbo delicious buttermilk biscuits from scratch. After baking, you will fill with a fluffy marshmallow cream and fresh strawberries. You will also learn how to make refreshing lemon coconut macaroons and take 12 home.

Strawberry Coconut Bunny Trifle
Class Limit: 16
From 9 – 10:30 am or 4:30 – 6 pm
Cost $50
You will learn how to create a new Spring favorite! This trifle is layered with fresh strawberries, homemade coconut cream filling, and strawberry pound cake. You will top it off with an adorable coconut covered bunny head and chocolate covered strawberries that look like carrots.

Spring Brunch Crostini Trio
Class Limit: 16
From 11:30 – 1 pm or 6:30 – 8 pm
Cost $60
Chef’s Diamantae and Lance will give you hands-on instruction on how to make three delicious appetizer spreads which include a Smoked Whitefish Spread, Heirloom Tomato Relish and Boursin Cheese Spread, and a Country Style Chicken Liver Pate. You will make all three and take home a pint of each along with a bag of crostini.

Springtime Cake Roll
Class Limit: 16
From 9 – 10:30 am or 1 – 2:30 pm
Cost $50
You will learn from our pastry chef how to create a light, refreshing cake roll. You will start with a pre-baked sponge cake, then fill it with homemade cream and fresh fruit. You will learn how to properly roll, and ice with more homemade cream, and top it off with assorted Easter candies and decorations.
