Thanksgiving has always been a busy day for Zehnder’s but 2014 will go down in the history books! This year, Zehnder’s served over 7,700 meals with 5,600 guests served in our restaurant dining rooms, 400 guests dined in Z Chef’s Cafe, and 170 Thanksgiving To-Go dinners that fed 10 people each for a grand total of 1,700 To-Go meals. Guests also consumed over 1,000 chickens, 360 turkeys, 1,500 lbs. of Blue Hubbard squash, 1,000 lbs. of Cranberry Relish and 1,000 lbs. of sweet potatoes.
Zehnder’s Bakery baked 1,250 pies, of which about 450 were pumpkin. The second most popular pie was our fresh Apple pie which we used over 300 lbs. of fresh, peeled apples.
We have already booked over 400 reservations for Thanksgiving Day in 2015! We are so thankful for our loyal guests and hope that you continue to make Zehnder’s a Thanksgiving tradition for years to come!
