Zehnder’s Snowfest – Celebrating 29 Years of Winter Fun for the Whole Family!

Zehnder’s Snowfest has been host to one of the top snow sculpting events in North America for the past 28 years. Visitors have enjoyed larger-than-life snow sculptures and beautifully detailed ice carvings each year.

Zehnder’s Snowfest 2020 will again dazzle and excite you with snow and ice sculptures created by professional ice and snow carvers from around the world. Snowfest events take place from January 22 through the 27, 2020.

Zehnder’s Snowfest is also host to the National Collegiate Ice Carving Championship and the High School Snow Sculpting Competition.

Snowfest 2020 highlights include: State of Michigan Snow Sculptors Competition, High School Snow Sculpting Competition, Children’s Play Area, the U.S. National Collegiate Ice Carving Championship, Fireworks, World Class Snow Sculpting Competitions, the new “All Things Chocolate” Recipe Contest, and the ever popular Warming Tent complete with entertainment like the Rock Show Band, the Life Support Rock Band, the Swift Brothers, Alan Turner and the Steel Horse Band, the Cruzin’ Jupiter Band and the U.S. 338th Army Bands.

Win great prizes during the FREE Bingo event in the Zehnder’s Snowfest Warming Tent on Thursday, January 23, 2020 from 1 to 3 p.m. Bingo is hosted by Joe FM Radio, HAP Solutions and Birch Run Premium Outlets which includes complimentary Bingo cards.

In addition, Zehnder’s Snowfest is proud to welcome back members of the Detroit Tigers as the Tigers Winter Caravan rolls into Frankenmuth on Friday, January 24, 2020 during a special event from 2:15 pm to 3:00 pm in Zehnder’s Warming Tent. Make plans to be part of this great event.

Are you a karaoke enthusiast? If so, don’t forget about KCQ’s 16th annual Zehnder’s Snowfest Karaoke Competition on Friday, January 24, 2020 starting at 6:30 p.m. located in Zehnder’s Snowfest official Warming Tent.

Monday, January 27th completes Snowfest with the 29th Annual Chef’s Hot Food Competition and Tasting where chefs compete with a “Culinary Salute to Caribbean Cuisine” at Zehnder’s Restaurant featuring Caribbean-style dishes prepared by local chefs and area culinary students. Enjoy food samples and four Grand Buffet tables all for only $30 per person. Proceeds from the competition support the Saginaw East Side Soup Kitchen “After School” Meal Program.
