Wednesday, January 23

  • State of Michigan Snow Sculpting Begins at 6 p.m. in Bavarian Inn Restaurant’s Parking Lot. Sponsored By: Frankenmuth Bavarian Inn
  • 10 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. “All Things Chocolate” Baking Contest featuring baking competitions for Cookies, Cakes & Brownies with the main ingredient of chocolate. FREE admission, door prizes, food samples, demos, complimentary recipe books and fun activities. Music by “Halsey Old Timers” from 11 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. Sponsored by: Michigan Sugar, WSGW, WITL & Le Creuset
  • Carnival Area – Open 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. Everyone of all ages are welcome to ride the Carousel or Zoom or visit the Fun House for $2.00 each.  Children Under 2 free when riding with an adult. Located in Zehnder’s Parking Lot next to the Large Ice Display Tent.

Thursday, January 24

  • High School Snow Sculpting Competition Begins at 9 a.m. at Frankenmuth River Place. Sponsored by: Northwood University
  • State of Michigan Snow Sculpting Continues Throughout the Day in Bavarian Inn Restaurant’s Parking Lot. Sponsored By: Frankenmuth Bavarian Inn
  • Snowfest Luncheon Show Featuring J. Cavataio a Modern Day Crooner at 11:30 a.m. Enjoy a Chicken Luncheon in Zehnder’s Main Dining Room and enjoy songs by Josh Groban, Michael Buble, Dean Martin, Barry Manilow and many more. Tickets $40 per person.  Call (989) 652-0450 for reservations.
  • WNEM TV-5 Live Broadcasts from Zehnder’s Restaurant Lobby at 5 p.m., 5:30 p.m. and 6 p.m.


Friday, January 25

  • Professional Ice Exhibition – Greg Butauski, Award Winning Ice Sculptor and team finish the TV-5 News Desk and 100-block Medieval Village featuring a Castle and dragons. Located in Zehnder’s Parking Lot behind Rau’s Country Store. Sponsored by: Pepsi & WNEM TV-5           
  • State of Michigan Snow Sculpting Continues Throughout the Day, Public Voting Begins. Sponsored By: Frankenmuth Bavarian Inn
  • High School Snow Sculpting Competition Continues 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. at Frankenmuth River Place. Sponsored by: Northwood University
  • Snowfest Wellspring Information Tent is open from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. Sponsored by: Wellspring Lutheran Services
  • The Collegiate Alumni Ice Carving Challenge 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. The first of a two-event team challenge.  Double-block individual ice carving competition at Edwin L. Zehnder Park. Sponsored by: OpenAire & Neuman Pools
  • Zehnder’s Snowfest Warming Tent Open 10 a.m. – 12 midnight. Food, Refreshments, Vendor Booths. Entertainment, Karaoke Contest and a visit from the Detroit Tigers ($5.00 Cover Charge after 6 p.m. – Children 12 and under free). Sponsored By: Miller Lite, Maker’s Mark, Webster Garner & Wolverine State Brewing Company 
      • 11 – 2 p.m. – Music by the Swift Brothers

      • 10 – 11 a.m. – 338th Ceremonial Army Band
      • 11 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. – Ventriloquist, Richard Paul Performs for Kids
      • 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. – Face Painting by Wowie Entertainment (small fee)
      • 11:30 – 3:30 p.m. – Cruzin’ Jupiter Band (high energy variety band featuring classic rock)

28th Annual Chef’s Hot Food Competition and Tasting from 6 – 8:30 p.m. located in Zehnder’s Main Dining Room.
“A Culinary Salute to Chinese Cuisine” featuring Chinese-style dishes. Prepared by local chefs and area culinary students. Sponsored by: ACF Flint/Saginaw Valley Chapter.
Tickets are $30 per person.
