Wednesday, January 23

  • World Class Snow Carving Teams Continue to Work Throughout the Day on Double & Single Block Competitions in Zehnder’s Parking Lot
  • Children’s Snow Sculpting at Frankenmuth Riverplace.
  • State of Michigan Snow Sculpting Begins at 6 p.m. in Bavarian Inn Restaurant’s Parking Lot
  • Zehnder’s Snowfest Warming Tent Open 10 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
    Food, Refreshments, Exhibit Booths & Entertainment
    Warming Tent Located behind Zehnder’s Restaurant

    10 a.m. – 3 p.m.  Zehnder’s & Michigan Sugar Baking Contest – Free admission, door prizes, food samples, complimentary recipe books.


Thursday, January 24

  • World Class Snow Carving Teams Continue to Work Throughout the Day on Double & Single Block Competitions in Zehnder’s Parking Lot, Public Voting Begins
  • Children’s Snow Sculpting at Frankenmuth Riverplace
  • High School Snow Sculpting Competition Begins at 9 a.m. at Frankenmuth Riverplace
  • State of Michigan Snow Sculpting Continues Throughout the Day in Bavarian Inn Restaurant’s Parking Lot
  • Snowfest Luncheon Show Featuring J. Cavataio a Modern Day Crooner at 11:30 a.m. Enjoy a Chicken Luncheon in Zehnder’s Main Dining Room and then be entertained by the Dueling Pianos. Tickets $40 per person.  Call (989) 652-0450 for reservations.
  • Zehnder’s Snowfest Warming Tent Open at 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
    Food, Refreshments, Exhibit Booths & Entertainment
    Warming Tent Located behind Zehnder’s Restaurant*Joe FM Bingo 1 – 3 p.m. in Zehnder’s Warming Tent. Free to all ages!
  • Tap Take Over – Zehnder’s Tap Room Featuring Wolverine State Brewing Co. Free Admission, Hors d’oeuvres & Entertainment Included


Friday, January 25

  • Professional Ice Exhibition – Greg Butauski, Award Winning Ice Sculptor and team finish the TV-5 News Desk and 100-block Medieval Village featuring a Castle, Dragons and more. Located in Zehnder’s Parking Lot behind Rau’s Country Store           
  • World Class Snow Carving Teams Continue to Work Throughout the Day on Double and Single Block Competitions, Public Voting Continues.
  • State of Michigan Snow Sculpting Continues Throughout the Day, Public Voting Begins
  • High School Snow Sculpting Competition Continues 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. at Frankenmuth Riverplace
  • The Collegiate Alumni Ice Carving Challenge 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. The first of a two-event team challenge.  Double-block individual ice carving competition at Edwin L. Zehnder Park.
  • Zehnder’s Snowfest Warming Tent Open 10 a.m. – 12 midnight. Food, Refreshments, Vendor Booths. Entertainment, Karaoke Contest and a visit from the Detroit Tigers ($5.00 Cover Charge after 6 p.m. – Children 12 and under free).
  • Children’s Play Area Open – Next to Frankenmuth Toy Company. Free Petting Zoo 4 – 7 p.m. Children’s Pony Rides   4 – 7 p.m.  ($2.00)
  • Musical Carousel and Zoom Ride – Open 3 – 8 p.m. Everyone of all ages are welcome to ride the Carousel and Zoom for $2.00 each. Children under 2 free when riding with an adult. Located in Zehnder’s Parking Lot next to the Large Ice Display Tent
  • Collegiate Ice Carving “Under the Stars” Competition begins between 6 and 7 p.m. Located at Edwin L. Zehnder Park.


Saturday, January 26

  • The Collegiate Alumni Ice Carving Challenge 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Edwin L. Zehnder Park. The second of a two-event team challenge.
  • World Class Single & Double Block, and State Snow Sculpting Concludes at 10 a.m.
  • Zehnder’s Snowfest Warming Tent Open 10 a.m. – 12 midnight. Food, Refreshments, Exhibit Booths and Entertainment ($5.00 Cover Charge after 6 p.m. – Children 12 and under Free).
  • Children’s Play Area Open – Next to Frankenmuth Toy Company. Free Petting Zoo 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. Children’s Pony Rides   12 noon – 6 p.m. ($2.00)
  • Musical Carousel and Zoom Ride – Open 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. Everyone of all ages are welcome to ride the Carousel or Zoom for $2.00 each.  Children Under 2 free when riding with an adult. Located in Zehnder’s Parking Lot next to the Large Ice Display Tent.
  • National Collegiate Ice Carving Competition begins at 3 p.m. in Edwin L. Zehnder Park.           
  • Annual Fireworks Display – 6:45 p.m.

         

Sunday, January 27

All Ice and Snow Sculptures Completed for Public Viewing 

  • National Collegiate Ice Carving Competition 8:30 – 11:30 a.m. Located in the Edwin L. Zehnder Park.
         
  • Zehnder’s Snowfest Warming Tent Open 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Food, Refreshments, Exhibit Booths and Entertainment
  • Children’s Play Area Open Next to Frankenmuth Toy Company. Free Petting Zoo 12 noon – 5 p.m. Children’s Pony Rides 12 noon – 5 p.m. ($2.00).           
  • Musical Carousel and Zoom Rides – Open 12 – 5 p.m. Everyone of all ages are welcome to ride the Carousel and Zoom for $2.00 each.  Children under 2 free when riding with an adult. Located in Zehnder’s Parking Lot next to the Large Ice Display Tent

 

Monday, January 28

27th Annual Chef’s Hot Food Competition and Tasting from 6 – 8:30 p.m. located in Zehnder’s Main Dining Room.
