Zehnder’s Splash Village Aquatic Team is committed to providing a safe and fun environment for all of our guests.

All of Zehnder’s Splash Village lifeguards are certified from the American Red Cross which includes: Lifeguarding, First Aid, CPR, AED, Administering Emergency Oxygen and waterpark lifeguarding. Lifeguards are subject to continuous audits and training throughout their employment.

Our Aquatic Leadership Team is led by Chris Bartnikowski, our Aquatics Operations Manager who has been a leader in the aquatics field in many capacities since 1987. Chris has a Master’s degree in Athletic Administration and many certifications including American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor, Lifeguarding, First Aid, CPR, AED, Administering Emergency Oxygen, Waterpark Lifeguard and Certified Pool Operator. The team also includes our Waterpark Safety Consultant, Robert Baillie who continuously trains the lifeguards throughout their employment at Splash Village. Robert has been an American Red Cross Lifeguard Trainer for 64 years and administers over 14,000 Zehnder’s Splash Village lifeguard training audits per year.

Both Chris and Robert oversee two additional waterpark supervisors and five head lifeguards who have certifications for American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructing, Lifeguarding, First Aid, CPR, AED, Administering Emergency Oxygen, Waterpark Lifeguard and Certified Pool Operating.
