Hospitality abounds with traditional family style chicken dinners and tantalizing breads and pastries in the world-famous Zehnder's of Frankenmuth restaurant.
Dinners range from $15.25 to $21.50, with children's portions and special event menus available. Our luncheon menu is available Monday through Saturday from 11 am to 2 pm. Zehnder's is open seven days a week. (For full hours of operation, see below). We are only closed on Christmas Eve, and for our annual employee Christmas party in early January.
Zehnder's restaurant is happy to tailor any meal to meet your dietary needs. Our chefs are well trained in special diet preparation and can provide dining options for gluten free, Celiac Disease, allergies/food sensitivities and most any other kind of special request.
We know that taste preferences vary from guest to guest, so rather than having limited option special menus we prefer to work with each guest based on their likes and dislikes. Many of our regular menu choices can be easily modified to conform to your special requests. After all, we make everything "from scratch" so altering a particular dish to meet your requirements is quite simple. Just let your server know what your preferences are and our chefs will gladly help you with menu options.

Dinner of the Month
We take top round and marinate it for two weeks before we roast it in our
ovens and finish it with red wine gravy. Spaetzle, sweet and sour red cabbage,
and oxtail barley soup, all complete this traditional German entrée.
Also served with our Zehnder’s creamy cabbage salad, large curd cottage
cheese, cranberry relish, stollen and bachofen bread with country butter
and whole fruit preserves.

CARAMEL APPLE MARTINI
Caramel and apple are flavors just made for each other.
We take caramel apple vodka and “shake it” with sour apple pucker,
and butter shots to create this cocktail. It’s a little sweet,
but with a hint of sour.
J.B.’S FIRESIDE CIDER
Nothing says fall in Michigan like warm apple cider. The cinnamon
flavor of Jim Beam Kentucky Fire mixed with warm cider is sure to take
the chill out of the season.
