Additionally, we have a very successful rewards program called Zehnder Plus. Currently Zehnder’s provides a gift certificate equal to 10 percent of ten purchases. We have over 12,000 very dedicated Zehnder Plus members. We have been asking ourselves, how can we improve the Zehnder’s Birthday Club and Zehnder Plus programs, reduce the waste and communicate more effectively with our guests. It became apparent to us that if we combine these two programs into one and improve the benefits, that’s a win-win for everyone!

So here’s what’s happening in 2010:
We are combining our two most popular programs Zehnder’s Birthday Club and Zehnder Plus into one reward program called Zehnder's Rewards. Our reward program will be a paperless program. Each reward club member will be issued just one card (it will look very similar to a credit card) with their own account number. Zehnder’s Rewards will have its own website where members can update their personal information, check their account balances and update themselves on any new information as it pertains to the program. Reward club members will have exclusive access to coupons and special promotions.
During your birthday month a FREE Zehnder’s Family Style Chicken dinner will be loaded to your account. No more lost coupons. We are upgrading our frequent buyer feature to provide a reward after just 10 purchases.

So what do you do now? Make sure you have an email address. Other than that, NOTHING. Continue to use both of these programs as you have until we let you know differently. We are working out all the details and anticipate a transition to our paperless system by February 2010. We will keep you informed and updated of our progress and on our website, www.zehnders.com.
