Location: Zehnder's - Splash Village
Position Title: Lifeguard
Status: Part-Time 20-30 hrs

Job Duties:

• Supervision of aquatic activities to ensure the safety of all participants
• Provide a safe, clean, and friendly environment for Splash Village guests
• Prevent accidents by responding quickly to emergencies
• Administer any first aid needed
• Observe and enforce all rules, regulations and policies
• Attend all aquatic in-service training and staff meetings

Job Requirements:

• Must be certified by the American Red Cross or YMCA life guarding
• Must have First Aid and Professional Rescuer CPR Certification
• Must be able to swim 500 yards and lift 70 lbs.
• Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time
• Must be at least 16 years of age

Location: Zehnder's - Splash Village
Position Title: Housekeeper
Status: 30-40 hours, 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.

Job Duties:

• Makes up each guest room which has been occupied to a completely clean, neat, attractive and fresh smelling room.
• Cleans rooms by conventional methods using: vacuum cleaner, dust cloths, cleaning cloths
• Washes fixtures and tile areas of the bathroom with cloth or sponge and sanitizes as required.
• Performs other cleaning jobs at regular intervals such as: washing windows, cleaning lamp shades, washing mirrors, polishing furniture, tasks associated with housekeeping.
• Changes linen completely after each occupancy.

Job Requirements:

• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to life 20 lbs.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, high stress work environment
• Must be at least 18 years of age
