Where are you located?
Zehnder's Splash Village is located on the south edge of Frankenmuth, next to Bronner's Christmas Wonderland. (Splash Village is just over a half mile south of Zehnder's Restaurant).

How much are your rooms?
Rooms range in price from $149 - $549, depending on the dates of stay and type of room you would like.

What does "rack rate" mean?
"Rack rate" refers to our standard rate before any discounts or coupons have been applied.

What does "prevailing rate" mean?
This term refers to our currently lowest discounted rate.

Is it cheaper to book online?
No.

Does the hotel allow pets?
No, the only exceptions are made for service dogs.

Is breakfast included with our room purchase?
No. However, we do offer room packages that include meals.

What is the maximum number of guests allowed per room?
The maximum number of guests per room varies on the type of room, and is determined by our fire code.

Why can't I find prices for your packages?
The prices vary according to the dates of stay and number of guests.

What is your cancellation policy?
CANCELLATION FOR TELEPHONE RESERVATION
Cancellation for Sunday – Friday arrival must be received 72 hours prior to arrival. (Excluding Holidays and Festival weeks requires two weeks notice prior to arrival). Cancellation for Saturday arrival must be received seven days prior to arrival. (Excluding Holidays and Festival weeks requires two weeks notice prior to arrival).Cancellation for any Holiday and Festival week must be received 14 days prior to arrival, i.e. Thanksgiving, Christmas Break, New Year Eve and Spring Break. Cancellations made after these time periods are subject to penalty.

Cancellation for internet reservation requires a seven day notice prior to arrival.

What is your deposit policy?
DEPOSIT POLICY FOR TELEPHONE RESERVATION
For deposits for Sunday – Friday arrival we require a credit card as a form of guarantee. (Excluding Holidays and Festival weeksl). For deposits for Saturday arrival we require a charge to a credit card of a room rate plus tax at the time of the booking. Deposits for any Holiday and Festival week have the same policy as for Saturday arrivals, i.e. Thanksgiving, Christmas Break, New Year Eve and Spring Break.

A deposit will be taken for internet reservation when you call and make the reservation and it will be charged to the credit card the following day.

Do you have any smoking rooms?
No, Zehnder's Splash Village is a smoke-free facility.

Do you have a lounge?
No. However, drinks are available at our Elf Hollow Cafe, and also through the service window of the waterpark.

What types of rooms do you offer?
We have Dragonfly rooms (sleep 4 guests and include: two queen beds, microwave and fridge), family suites (sleep 4-6 guests and include: two queen beds, 2 televisions, microwave, fridge, and fireplace), loft suites (sleep 4-8 guests and include the same layout as a family suite, plus: a loft with an additional queen bed, and television upstairs), parlor suites (sleep up to 6 guests and include: two queen beds, double sized pull-out soft, wet bar, microwave, mini-fridge, 2 flat screen televisions, and two shower head shower).

Do you have any connecting rooms?
Yes, we have a total of 8 sets of connecting rooms. Connecting rooms however are only available for Dragonfly rooms.

Waterpark Guidelines

How many waterpark passes come with each room type?
Standard rooms and family suites come with four passes, and family loft suites come with six passes. Additional passes can be purchased at $15.00 per person per day. The purchase is limited to the maximum occupancy of your room.

What are the check-in and check-out times and waterpark use times?
Check-in is at 4 p.m. Check-out is at 11 a.m. You are welcome to use the waterpark from noon the day you are scheduled to arrive until 4 p.m. the day you are scheduled to depart.

Does everyone need a pass to enter the waterpark even if they are not swimming?
Yes, unless they are under 2 years old (these guests receive free admission).

Can I have a guest visit and use the waterpark during my stay?
You are welcome to have a guest as long a you do not exceed the maximum occupancy of the room. You may purchase additional passes for your guests, or they are welcome to purchase day passes if we are offering them that day.

Is the waterpark available to non-hotel guests?
During our non-peak times, day passes are available. We recommend that you make a reservation for day passes prior to your arrival.

How much are day passes and what are the times?
Day passes are $25 for a half day and $32 for a whole day. Half day passes are good from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. or from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m.

Can I bring food into the waterpark?
Only food that is purchased from Zehnder's is permitted in any public area.

Do I have to go into the waterpark with my kids?
An adult must accompany any child under the age of 14.

What is the dress code for the waterpark?
Proper swim attire is required; no cut off shorts, wetsuits, or thongs are permitted.

Are there any height restrictions?
Yes, you must be a minimum of 42 inches to ride the tube slides alone. However, a child under 42 inches may ride the slides if wearing a life jacket and accompanied by an adult.

Can I bring pool toys?
No, you cannot bring pool toys into the waterpark.
