Good Sunday morning everyone, welcome to the last main day of Snowfest. Don't think that means there still aren't things to see and do, because believe us there is still plenty going on! First let's talk about what happened last night. We had fireworks, we had music, we had dancing, we had ice carving, we had it all! The collegiate ice carving happened yesterday and the kids produced some very unique and interesting works of ice. They are still on display behind Rau's Country Store. In the Warming Tent last night, the Sauce Cats rocked the house. There were so many people enjoying the music and everything else that Snowfest has to offer. We think we may even need a larger tent next year; there were just so many people out enjoying all of Snowfest. So what may you ask is going on today? This morning rounds out the last day of competition for the collegiate teams. They are currently working in Edwin L. Zehnder Park. Make sure you check that out. The Warming Tent will be open again today until 5 p.m. with Magic and More by Joel Tacey, and music by the bands CEYX and the Rich Eddy Band. The children's play area is also open today until 5 p.m. with lots of fun for the kids. Don't forget about the petting zoo for the children either, that is located by Ha' Penny. The kids will just love to feed the animals, we know we do! Today at 2 p.m. in the Warming Tent, the Snowfest Raffle Drawing will be held. Good Luck to everyone who has bought tickets! And of course all of the snow sculptures are on display for everyone to enjoy. You can even check the sky, you might get lucky and spot a hot air balloon; we saw them this morning. Hope everyone enjoys this beautiful day at Snowfest, we sure are! -- Friends of Snowfest
