5th Annual Michigan's Best Apple Pie Contest Winners
Congratulations to this year's winners!

First Place:
Kim Landhuis (pictured above) of Dewitt, Michigan with her Cream Cheese Apple Pie with Oatmeal Pecan Streusel. Kim wins a trip for two to Florida and a check for $500!

Second Place: Jenny Wilcox of Elsie, Michigan with her Crumb Topped Apple Pie. Jenny wins $250 plus overnight package at Zehnder's Splash Village Hotel & Waterpark!

Third Place: Dan Beck of Flint, Michigan wins $100 and dinner for 4 at Zehnder's Restaurant.

19th Annual Hot Food Competition & Tasting
"The Feast of Santa Fe"
A culinary salute to Southwest Cuisine on Monday, February 1, 2010 at Zehnder's of Frankenmuth. Two dozen top chefs in Michigan competed for cash and trophies. The categories included:

FIESTA FAVORITES
Boneless Pork Butts or Beef Briskets
ALONG THE RIO GRANDE
Raw Shrimp or Tilapia (mild white fish)
HACIENDA HOLIDAY
Boneless Chicken Breasts or Whole Quail

Proceeds supported the Flint Head Start "Snack Sack Project".
