Job Description:

  • Makes up each guest room which has been occupied to a completely clean, neat,                                           attractive, and fresh smelling room.
  • Cleans rooms by conventional methods using:
    • Vacuum cleaner
    • Dusting cloths
    • Cleaning cloths
  • Washes fixtures and tile areas of the bathroom with cloth or sponge and sanitizes  as required.
  • Performs other cleaning jobs at regular intervals such as:
  • washing windows
  • cleaning lamp shades
  • washing mirrors
  • polishing furniture
  • tasks associated with housekeeping.

 

  • Changes linen completely after each occupancy.

Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Dining Room Supervisor

Position: Dining Room Supervisor
Function: Guiding and directing, in a proactive fashion, the customer service activities of the Front of the House staff, using a set of Hospitality absolutes.  Providing hands-on and do-by example leadership in an effort to interact/influence the staff to provide excellent customer service and the achievement of financial goals.

Work Performed:

  1. Efficiently operated the dining rooms and its activities with a mandatory floor presence from 11-4 and 6-close, covering both lunch and dinner periods.
  2. Observes, corrects and coaches all Front of House staff in customer service, up-selling and the non-negotiable service standards.
  3. Mandatory personal interfacing with each and every guest table:
    1. Table checks and personal introduction of self to guests
    2. Beverage refills
    3. Distribution of marketing/promo materials
    4. Introduction of daily specials, upcoming events, birthday club sign-ups.
  4. Strongly supports the plans and efforts of the Customer Satisfaction and Sales Representatives by coaching and encouraging staff to fully participate in add-on sales incentives and other NMI activities.
  5. Responsible for the daily payroll costs and financial objectives of the department.
  6. Responsible for the proper staffing levels of the dining rooms and absentee accountability, proper banquet and reservation follow-through, assignment of table sections using a realistic assessment of each server’s weaknesses/strengths and for closing dining rooms/sending home staff early when necessary.
  7. Responsible for the agenda and presentation of the monthly staff meeting and the structured follow-through for meeting absentees using VHS video.  Responsible for the daily role call meetings with an emphasis on add-on sales coaching/opportunities.
  8. Accountability for one of several individualized functions of supervision.
    1. Scheduling for hostess, cashiers, service assistants and greeters.
    2. Training of Front of House staff by department
    3. Handling of Micros POS system
    4. Setting agendas and information used in staff meetings.

Educational Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent.
Age Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age.
