Position: Maintenance Foreman
Reports To: Maintenance Manager
Function: Responsible for internal maintenance systems and control of all power and supply systems and assures compliance with all safety and health departments.
Work Performed:
• Maintains and oversees all company-wide refrigeration and air conditioning systems and equipment.
• Ensures all repairs and preventative maintenance is performed in a timely and efficient manner.
• Oversees, administers, and classifies all company-wide maintenance expenditures according to the annual financial plan.
• Works with company-wide maintenance manager and submits 1, 3, and 5 year capital repair and preventative maintenance budgets and plans for review and implementation.
• Assists in training and developing maintenance personnel to be cross trained in a variety of disciplines.
• Coordinates adequate staff are on hand for the projected business needs and ensures necessary repairs and replacements take place in a timely, efficient fashion with maintenance manager
• Maintains an open and harmonious communication system with all operating managers and staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Assists in company-wide repairs when necessary.
• Attends appropriate meetings and seminars
• Performs other duties as assigned or directed.
Physical Requirements: Ability to walk and stand continually and ability to lift minimum 30 lbs.
Educational Requirements: Journeyman or supervisor/managerial experience of three years or more.
Other Qualifications: Cooperative, pleasing personality.
Age Requirement: Must be 18 years of age or older.
