What began as a simple idea to bring classic, antique and custom cars to Frankenmuth has grown into one of the largest auto shows in the U.S. This year, Frankenmuth Auto Fest is celebrating its 42nd year, scheduled from September 5-7th; promises to be as spectacular as ever.
If you can’t make it every day don’t miss the Big Block Party on Friday evening. The main street of Frankenmuth closes and thousands of classic, antiques and custom cars line the street. The addition of various food vendors and live music makes for a family friendly festive atmosphere. It is one of my favorite evenings in Frankenmuth.
Run by over 540 volunteers, AutoFest has given back over $1.8 million dollars to local charities and service clubs.
Make plans now to visit. It’s a great ending to Summer or an introduction to Fall. Check out the complete schedule of events at www.frankenmuthautofest.net. Don’t miss it! It’s Pure Michigan.
Hospitably Yours
