PGA Recognition for Kyle Martin
We are excited to share that our very own PGA Head Golf Professional, Kyle Martin was named one of Golf Digest’s best teachers in the state of Michigan. Every two years, Golf Digest asks the top instructors across the country to name the best teachers in their states. After surveying several thousand teachers, Kyle was added to the list of best teachers in the state of Michigan, along with 20 other top instructors from Michigan.
Kyle continues to grow not only as a great golf instructor but as a well-rounded head golf professional. He has had a major impact on the daily operations at The Fortress Golf Course as well as the thousands of individuals he has given lessons to over the years.

It’s time to plan for the 2026 season! The Fortress Golf Course offers year-round services including world class instruction and club fitting. Experience our Trackman Studio with fitting carts from Titleist, Mizuno, and Callaway. Over the course of the off-season we will be hosting fitting days with each manufacturer. Both our Head Golf Professional Kyle Martin and Assistant Professional Nick Sears are teaching lessons on our Trackman Simulator, offering the best launch monitor in the industry paired with video feedback and expert instruction.
