Department: Bakery
Position: Bakery 3rd Shift Supervisor
Reports To: Bakery Production Manager
Function: Responsible for the execution of bakery production and supervision of 3rd shift employees.
Work Performed:
1. Establishes and maintains open lines of communications with fellow supervisors, employees, and bakery manager.
2. Continually monitor and improve production costs and standards.
3. Develop new product ideas as well as improving costs and standards.
4. Responsible for scheduling in accordance with the budgeted payroll.
5. Responsible for maintaining the “Zehnder’s Excellence” in quality products and service.
6. Work closely with the Bakery Manager to maintain a high level of support, cooperation, and communication with the bakery’s primary customers – Foodstore, Main Kitchen, Z Chef’s Cafe, Zehnder’s Splash Village and The Fortress.
7. Responsible for the training of all personnel within your department.
8. Responsible for ordering all ingredients necessary for your department.
9. Attend all required meetings.
10. Any other duties or tasks as directed.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to walk and stand extended periods of time and lift 50 lbs. Work in high volume environment.
Educational Requirements: Associates degree or equivalent and minimum 2 years related experience.
Other Requirements: Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Age Requirement: Must be 21 years of age or older.
