Department: Bakery
Position: Bakery Production – Breads and Cookies
Reports To: Bakery 3rd Shift Supervisor
Function: Responsible for the production of the breads and cookies for the bakery and all customers’ orders.
Work Performed:
1. Prepares and assembles bakery items and ensures that the proper consistency and quality is followed according to Zehnder’s recipes and standards.
2. Responsible for daily mixing of all breads and sweet goods.
3. Maintain supply of ingredients and equipment.
4. Responsible to maintain a clean and sanitary work area in compliance with the Saginaw County Health Department.
5. All other duties as assigned or directed.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand on feet for extended periods of time and lift 50 lbs. Work in high volume environment.
Educational Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent. Basic math skills to expand and reduce recipes.
Other Requirements: Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Age Requirement: Must be 18 years of age or older.
