Department: Zehnder’s Splash Village Food & Beverage
Position: Bartender – Elf Hollow Café
Reports To: Elf Hollow Cafe Supervisor
Function: Responsible for the preparation and distribution of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to both Elf Hollow Cafe and Zehnder’s Splash Village guests.
Work Performed:
• Provide quality service to guests
• Knowledgeable about the workings of “Splash Village”
• Maintain inventory of bar
• Directly participate in and oversee the “guest’s experience”
• Maintain area’s sanitation in accordance with the Michigan Department of Health
• Ensures an accurate counting of all transactions, collections, and disbursements
• Take drink orders, answer questions regarding menu items as well as maintain thorough knowledge of menu items
• Attend various management meetings as required
• All other duties as assigned or directed
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods of time for prolonged period of time, self-motivated, organized, and have a high level of customer service standards. Ability to work in a high volume work environment.
Education Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent.
Other Requirements: Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Age Requirement: Must be years of age or older.
