Chef of the Year, Again!

Mar 29, 2021

Brandon Reeves - ACF Chef of the Year

Each year, the Flint/Saginaw Valley chapter of the American Culinary Federation picks one deserving chef and awards him or her the designation of Chef of the Year. That designation “pays tribute to that individual whose knowledge, skill, expertise, guidance and direction have enhanced the image of the professional chef and who by example has made a positive impact on our local or national chapter or our communities through the sharing of themselves, their time, experience, talents and volunteerism. This person should exemplify the image of the American Culinary Federation and what we stand for.”

I am proud to say that that distinction has been bestowed upon one of our culinary team three out of the last four years.

In 2017, Chef Lance Buchinger was recognized and in 2019 Pastry Chef Jennifer Reeve was awarded that honor.

The 2020 ACF Chef of the Year for 2020 is our very own and very deserving Pastry Chef Brandon Reeve.

Congratulations to all of you on your individual and collective contribution to our culinary team. We are all very proud of you!

Sincerely,

Al Zehnder, CEO
