Department: Zehnder’s Splash Village
Position: Aquatics Operations Manager
Reports To: Director of Aquatics and Corporate Housekeeping
Function: Under the direction of the Director of Operations, Zehnder’s Splash Village Aquatics Operations Manager will lead the overall supervision and development of the waterpark staff with emphasis of lifeguards. Duties will include all staff development and providing patrons with an enjoyable and safe visit.
Work Performed:
1. Year-round fiscal responsibility. Coordinating all aquatics budgets and adhering to those budgets to ensure fiscal success.
2. Handle all problems that may arise.
3. Recruitment and training of lifeguards on a yearly basis.
4. Ensure cleanliness and safety of facility.
5. Order of supplies and equipment to keep the facility functional.
6. Document all accidents and incidents.
7. Attend various management meetings as required.
8. Performs other duties as assigned or directed.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to swim 300 yards, ability to lift 70 lbs. and walk and stand for extended periods of time.
Education Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree, Masters preferred. American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor certification AFO, CPO. At least 10 years of experience managing all aspects of aquatic facilities.
