Keeping it Fresh!

We’ve been a farm-to-table restaurant long before the phrase became fashionable. Decades ago, our commitment to fresh, locally sourced ingredients began with something as humble as Blue Hubbard Squash, harvested from nearby farms and featured as part of our Family Style Chicken Dinner. That philosophy has never changed. We believe the best meals start with the best ingredients. By building lasting relationships with local farmers, we’ve remained true to our roots, creating dishes that honor and support our local agricultural heritage.

Currently under the leadership of our Chef de Cuisine, Lance Buchinger, these are the dedicated local farmers that support our vision:

• Gregory Asparagus Farm in Rodney, MI. Asparagus of course!
• Munch’s Produce in Essexville. They provide us with Sweet Corn and Blue Hubbard Squash.
• Jacobs Family Farm from Reese/Caro area. They provide us with Sweet Corn.
• Ingrid’s Microgreens from Frankenmuth. A variety of seasonal microgreens.
• Fred Weiss Family Farms from Frankenmuth. Original supplier of Blue Hubbard Squash.
• Ortner Farms from Reese/Caro area. Blue Hubbard Squash.
• Schiefer Farms from Frankenmuth. Tomatoes, peppers, zucchini and summer squash.

We are currently featuring fresh Sweet Corn on the Cob. Call or watch our website, www.zehnders.com for your seasonal favorite. We’re keeping it fresh!

You have my name on it!
