This unusually warm weather has all of the golfing community ready and excited to tee it up for the first time in 2024. While we’re optimistic to get a good stretch of consistent weather in March, The Fortress is planning on opening for the season on April 1st. Tee times are now available online for the entire 2024 golf season.
Improvements to The Fortress Cart Paths
We are excited to have our guests experience some upgrades to our facilities that are currently under construction. At the beginning of the season 10 of our 18 holes will have brand new cart paths. The remaining 8 will be ready at the start of the 2025 season. Our grounds staff continue to work hard throughout the offseason working on general tree removal, course clean up and maintenance practices that will pay dividends during the middle of the summer.
The Fortress Introduces a New Pavilion
The most exciting news we have to share is that a brand new pavilion, with a bar and outdoor seating area will be completed by the end of May. Our new pavilion will be the main hub of all pre and post round activities. With views down the 1st hole and an outdoor patio that overlooks hole #18, guests will have the perfect spot to grab a bite to eat, have a cold beverage, and reminisce about all the fun they just had on the course!
