We don’t work everyday hoping for awards, plaques or trophies but it’s nice when our collective effort as a team is noticed. We were fortunate to have been recognized twice in the last month.
On March 5th we were notified by TripAdvisor, the worlds largest travel site, that Zehnder’s Splash Village was named as one of the Top 25 hotels in the nation in the Hotels for Families category. The 2016 TripAdvisor Readers Choice Awards recognizes hotels that exhibit remarkable service, quality and value. No other hotel in Michigan was recognized. Pretty special.
On March 18th, our entire company was recognized by the College of Business and Management at Saginaw Valley State University as the Outstanding Family Business for 2016. Zehnder’s, which traces its roots to 1856, is in its fourth generation of leadership which puts us in the 3% of businesses that survive to the fourth generation.
It’s nice to be recognized by our professional peers on the fantastic effort made by our staff each day.
