Golf Course

The Fortress is a division of Zehnder’s and is one of Michigan’s top 25 golf courses. This breathtaking beauty spans over 6,800 yards of remarkable gameplay, highlighted by fescue-covered mounds, and lush sectioned greens. The Fortress was designed by golf architect Dick Nugent in 1992, which reveals characteristics of golf’s early Scottish origins. Bent-grass tees, greens, and fairways surround 75 bunkers.

Players have a few warm-up options, including the putting green, the chipping green with a practice bunker, and the target-oriented driving range. Special events, tournaments, clinics, and junior programs are scheduled throughout the season.

Halloween Bash at Splash

October 24-25, 2025 | Great Halloween fun takes place on October 24th and 25th at Zehnder’s Splash Village Hotel & Waterpark for our overnight guests. On Friday, activities begin with Halloween crafts, story time, donuts and apple cider. Later, kids can take a Trick or Treat walk, enjoy popcorn and a Halloween movie to complete the evening. On Saturday, a coloring contest begins the day with prizes for different age groups. There will be cookie decorating, craft time and then Trick or Treat in the evening followed by a Halloween movie and popcorn. Enjoy a Spooky Dinner Buffet on Friday and Saturday and upload your favorite costume photo to the Spooky Costume Contest for a chance to win great Zehnder’s prizes!
