I was walking through a large grocery store recently and there it was, almost an entire aisle dedicated to back-to-school supplies: pencils, crayons, binders, erasers, backpacks, calculators; everything! It just hit me that the start of school is right around the corner and summer is fleeting.
Frankenmuth still offers a whole host of family activities. Beginning August 1-3, the Frankenmuth Flower Festival, August 6-9 the Summer Music Festival, August 14 the Food Truck Festival and August 23 and 24 the Frankenmuth Farm Festival. Not a festival but a great night out is the Friday Night BBQ at The Fortress Pavilion with live entertainment on August 8. And every Friday, the Main Street of Frankenmuth hosts Friday Fun Nights, various types of entertainment up and down the center of our beautiful community.
