Thank you to all who entered the Zehnder’s annual Mother of the Year contest. Congratulations to Shirley Zanley from Warren, Michigan for winning Zehnder’s Mother of the Year contest! Her daughter Cherylin Piazza submitted the winning poem.
Shirley received a Mother’s Day dinner for 10 of her family members at Zehnder’s Restaurant; a Zehnder’s overnight package for four at Zehnder’s Splash Village Hotel & Waterpark; and a recognition plaque. Congratulations Shirley!
Mother of the Year Poem:
A giving heart,
A smiling face,
A gentle touch,
A warm embrace,
These are things I’m proud to say,
Describe my MOM in every way.
I don’t want to brag or boast,
That’s not why I’m here.
To me my MOM will always be MOTHER OF THE YEAR!
