Department: Bakery
Position: Bakery Production – Breads and Cookies
Reports To: Bakery 3rd Shift Supervisor
Function: Responsible for the production of the breads and cookies for the bakery and all customer’s orders.
Work Performed:
• Prepares and assembles bakery items and insures that the proper consistency and quality is followed according to Zehnder’s recipes and standards.
• Responsible for daily mixing of all breads and sweet goods.
• Maintain supply of ingredients and equipment.
• Assembles, frosts, and decorates items as necessary.
• Responsible to maintain a clean and sanitary work area in compliance with the Saginaw County Health Department.
• All other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
• Must be able to stand on feet for extended periods of time and lift 50 lbs. Work in high volume environment.
Educational Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent. Basic math skills to expand and reduce recipes.
Other Requirements:
• Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Age Requirement:
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
