Department: Hotel Housekeeping
Position: Laundry
Reports To: Housekeeping Supervisor
Function: To ensure that all laundry is cleaned according to standard operating procedures.
Work Performed:
• Maintain washers and dryers
• Maintain cleanliness of laundry room
• Remove stains from linens
• Sort dirty laundry correctly and efficiently
• Keep laundry shelves organized
• Fold various types of laundry correctly and efficiently
• Properly load washers and dryers
• Any other tasks or duties as assigned by management
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for long periods of time and able to lift, push, and pull 50 lbs.
Education Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Other Requirements:
Available to work weekends and holidays.
Age Requirements:
Must be 18 years of age or older.
