Department: Sales
Position: Sales Manager
Reports To: Director of Group Sales
Function:
Coordinate and execute group sales and event planning activities, ensuring a high standard of customer service and internal collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Follow up on custom lead inquiries through the internal booking platform.
2. Analyzing customer needs to tailor proposals and solutions effectively.
3. Deliver persuasive oral and written presentations to prospective clients.
4. Negotiating contracts while ensuring alignment with company policies and client expectations.
5. Plan and conduct client site visits.
6. Coordinating with Operational Departments to ensure smooth event execution.
7. Plan and organize events from initial inquiry through completion.
8. Represent the Sales Department in various management meetings.
9. Attend appropriate conferences and community or industry events.
10. Other duties as assigned or directed.
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or currently pursuing a degree.
• Preferred Experience: 2-5 years in the Hospitality Industry, preferably in Sales or Event Management. Wedding Planning experience a plus.
• Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills; friendly and engaging phone presence, basic computer skills and the ability to act with integrity, confidentiality and professionalism.
• Age: Must be 21 years or older.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
