Reports To: Dining Room Manager
Wage: $18 per hour
Shift: Full-Time
Function: Responsible for the efficient use of labor and resources within the dining rooms of Zehnder’s.

Job Description:
• Efficiently operate the dining rooms and its activities with a mandatory floor presence.
• Observes, corrects, and coaches all FOH staff in customer service, add-on sales, and non-negotiable service as well as uniform standards.
• Mandatory personal interfacing with each guest table:
– Table checks and personal introduction of self to guests.
– Beverage refills. – Distribution of marketing/promo materials
• Introduction of daily specials, upcoming events, and Zehnder’s Rewards sign-ups.
• Strongly supports the plans and efforts of the Customer Satisfaction and Sales Representatives by coaching and encouraging staff to fully participate in add-on sales incentives.
• Responsible for the daily payroll costs and financial objectives of the department.
• Responsible for the proper staffing levels of the dining rooms and absentee accountability, proper banquet and reservation follow-through, assignment of table sections using a realistic assessment of each server’s weakness/strengths and for closing dining rooms/sending home staff early when necessary.
• Accountability for one of several individualized functions of supervision.
– Schedule for hostess, cashiers, service assistants and greeters.
– Training of FOH staff by department.
• Any other tasks or duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:
• Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time and work in a high volume environment.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in high volume food service.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older. • Must be available weekends & holidays
