The Fortress Swings into Summer!

We’re getting into the swing of summer at The Fortress Golf Course with a number of exciting events including the popular Par 3 Challenge events – the Chip and Sip on Friday, June 15, 2018 and Bogeys and Bourbon on August 10, 2018. Enjoy a fun and relaxing evening of golf, delicious beverages and spectacular hors d’oeuvres! Both Par 3 Challenges include 9 holes of golf with cart, prizes, beverages and heavy hors d’oeuvres – fun for all skill levels! Tickets are only $50 per person and is limited to 40 participants for each event. Reception only tickets are also available for $28 per person for each event.

New this year is the Craft Beer Classic on Saturday, July 28, 2018, an 18-hole, 4-person golf scramble which includes a Zehnder’s dinner buffet and complementary samples of Wolverine Brewery craft beer throughout the day. Back by popular demand is the Junior Golf Program for golfers aged 7 to 17 on July 16 through the 19, 2018. Learn directly from the golf pros Kyle Martin and Nick Sears in a safe, fun and competitive learning environment. The Junior Golf Program is designed for all skills and abilities. The Fortress is also featuring a new Ladies Golf Clinic on Friday, June 29, 2018. Learn directly from the pros at The Fortress on all aspects of golf. This program is designed for ladies of all playing abilities and will introduce fundamentals of golf to beginners and give more advanced players the proper techniques to improve their game. Cost is only $25 per person and includes golf lessons and complementary drinks and snacks.
