While we had a very wet Spring, the flowers at each of our properties are in full bloom and look fantastic. The daily focus on getting the monumental job done, while supervised by our Golf Superintendent, fell on the shoulders of Marissa and Hannah, two very hard-working individuals.
Over 4,000 annuals are planted at each property; a total of over 12,000 plants! That doesn’t include the hundreds of perennials that act as a backdrop for our annual beds or the thousands of begonias that make up the topiary chicken, the focal point of the garden in front of Zehnder’s, our flagship restaurant. They even tend to the small herb planters on our front porch that our chef’s use primarily for garnishes.
You’ll see these two watering, weeding and deadheading plants so we always look our best. If you have any questions regarding any of our plants, be sure to ask them. Or just congratulate them on a job well done. They are as proud of their work as I am.
